The stunning archipelago of more than 20 islands in the Firth of Lorn has some of the most varied paddling in Scotland,we’ll be paddling among isolated uninhabited islands with an abundance of wildlife. We would expect to see otters, dolphins, sea and golden eagles, basking sharks and maybe the odd minke whale. Weather permitting we may be able to paddle through the Grey Dogs and the Corryvecken and out to the historic Garvellachs.
Accommodation: Wild camping
As you can see from the photography the Firth of Lorn is incredibly photogenic so a camera is a must. We tend to carry waterproof cameras in our buoyancy aids, that way we can capture the sudden unexpected sighting of a dolphin or minke whale.
